Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO)
CHEO has developed four modules to support health practitioners in providing culturally competent health services for residents of the Qikiqtaaluk region. The modules include information on the region's geography, history and demographics; Inuit culture, values, and ways of life; the challenges faced in providing health care services in Nunavut; and what cultural competence is and how it affects health care.
