Wi’kuom Cross Cultural Services
This two-day workshop is aimed at workplaces that provide services to Mi’kmaw communities. Topics include Mi’kmaw history and culture, how First Nations people experience systemic racism and discrimination, and ways that organizations can improve workplace recruitment and retention of Mi’kmaw people. The training emphasizes self-reflection about the ways that personal beliefs and biases create barriers to Mi’kmaw clients obtaining services.
