Description

This study aimed to assess whether prenatal exposure to polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) was associated with incidence of acute respiratory infections and acute otitis media in preschool Inuit children from Nunavik. Findings indicated that prenatal exposure to PCBs might be a contributing factor to the high rates of respiratory infections in Inuit children.
