Description

A pre-post mixed-methods intervention evaluating First Peoples-led emotion-based pedagogy on non-Indigenous undergraduate health students' understandings and applications of cultural safety. The study found emotional connection and self-reflexivity were challenging for students, but were meaningful and effective. However, the students were unsure how to translate their new knowledge into culturally safe professional practice.
