Description

The authors present findings from a research study that aimed to assess the impact of cultural competence training on the attitudes, perceptions, and occupational skills of frontline clinicians and staff who are delivering addiction treatment for Indigenous Peoples. Study findings reveal enhanced knowledge of Indigenous history and culture among frontline clinicians and staff. The authors conclude by providing suggestions for further enhancement of cultural competency.
