The authors present findings from a qualitative study exploring Indigenous integrated mental health care programs in Canada that use both Indigenous and Western practices in care delivery. The discussion focuses on the lessons learned from integrated care programs, why tensions and disjunctures exist, and ways to move forward using lessons learned from integrated care and the concept of equity.
