Description

This article explores the perceptions and understandings about cultural safety among nurse academics at a regional university in New South Wales, Australia. The study revealed that staff recognized the importance of cultural safety but lacked a comprehensive understanding of and confidence to teach the philosophy and practices of cultural safety, highlighting the need to build staff capacity so that cultural safety can be embedded within nursing curriculum.
