Description

The authors describe findings from a population-based retrospective cohort study of administrated health data from April 2012 to March 2017 to evaluate triage outcomes of First Nations and non-First Nations patients in Alberta. They found that First Nations status was assocatied with lower odds of higher acuity triage scores, which could be attributed to systemic racism, stereotyping, and other potential factors.
