Building on the “Equity, Accessibility, Inclusion, and Participation NWT Disability Strategic Framework,” this plan guides actions to ensure that persons with disability are able to engage as full citizens. The action plan is grounded in principles of self-determination, equality of opportunity, independence, innovation, personal accessibility, person and family-centred, non-discrimination, respect, flexibility and dignity.
