Description

This report outlines progress in developing a 10-year Health Accord related to the first phase - the setting of the overall vision and direction of the Accord. The vision that emerged from five months of extensive engagement was that of improved health outcomes “through acceptance of and interventions in social determinants of health and a higher quality health system that balances community, hospital, and long-term care services” (p. 6). The second phase, identifying calls to action which will take the Health Accord into the new direction, is expected to be completed by September 2021.
