This article describes how Ontario's Aboriginal Aboriginal Cancer Strategy II intends to address health inequities for First Nations, Inuit, and Métis people. The strategy is grounded in Indigenous perspectives of health and well-being, is holistic and strengths-based, and is based on respectful engagement with Indigenous Peoples. The paper discusses three of the strategy's six priorities and policy-related initiatives that will help advance the strategy's objectives.
