Description

This article presents findings from a qualitative study exploring the preparedness of primary care providers to support Indigenous women who experience intimate partner violence. The study found that primary care providers were often not well prepared to support Indigenous women in culturally safe ways. The article makes recommendations to improve provider preparedness.
