This document outlines Indigenous Services Canada's preparedness and response to COVID-19, including provision of essential health and social services; ensuring communities are prepared with adequate supplies, personnel and training; providing financial and social supports; providing adequate infection prevention and control measures; ensuring medical transportation policies are adapted to the context of COVID-19; ensuring a coordinated response with communities, provinces and territories; and developing appropriate communication strategies and surveillance processes.
