Description

This article examines the social purposes of Indigenous kindergarten children's language and their construction of Indigenous cultural knowledge. The qualitative study involved video-recording children's play interactions over a four-month period and interviews with teachers about their perceptions of how children construct Indigenous knowledge during their play.
