The authors review and summarize literature documenting the experiences of Indigenous Peoples in Canada with COVID-19. Utilizing an economic framework to underpin their arguments, the authors highlight how pandemic conditions can lead to post-pandemic economic consequences for Indigenous communities and identify the factors that contribute to economic vulnerability.
