Description

The authors draw on two case studies that illustrate promising practices for adapting an evidence-based practice and implementing it with Indigenous populations. Examples are drawn from both the United States and Canada, with Indigenous communities that have culturally adapted the same prevention program - the Iowa Strengthening Families Program for Parents and Youth 10-14 - for the purposes of addressing substance use among youth.
