Description

This article reports findings from a survey of first-year medical students in Canada which evaluates their sociopolitical attitudes towards Indigenous people, knowledge of colonization and links to Indigenous health inequities, and assesses their perceived importance of and interest in learning about Indigenous peoples. The aim of this study was to determine whether current Indigenous health curricula ultimately helps improve students' beliefs and attitudes.
