Description

Developed in close collaboration with First Nations communities and in consultation with recognized health and social services experts, this document provided a 10-year blueprint for addressing gaps in health status between First Nations and non-First Nations living in Quebec and Labrador and accelerating structural change in health and social services provision. The blueprint adopted a holistic approach, grounded in First Nations community and cultural values, and acknowledged First Nations self-determination in defining and implementing health and social services that meet their unique community needs and contexts.
