Recognising cultural safety issues for Indigenous students in a baccalaureate nursing programme: Two unique programmes

2014

Penn, H.

Description

The author compares course content in baccalaureate nursing programmes at Camosun College, Victoria BC with those of the Faculty of Health at Whitireia Community Polytechnic, New Zealand. She found that the New Zealand course content allowed for an Indigenous perspective that the Camosen College did not, and made recommendations for revising course content at Camosun College.
