Description

This article highlights the priorities and strategies of two First Nations communities in Ontario for promoting healthy nutrition and physical activity for young children. This is seen as a step towards developing and implementing effective health promotion strategies that improve health behaviours early in childhood as a strategy for mitigating the burden of intergenerational trauma exposures that can impact the trajectory to obesity and related complications throughout the lifecycle.
