The authors measure the event-related potential P3b component, a cognitive electrophysiological measure linked to working memory processing, in Inuit children from Nunavik to assess lead neurotoxicity. The study reveals that lead exposure affects children's cognitive processing, even though levels are below the threshold value for public health intervention used by federal agencies.
