This paper aims to provide an overview of the health effects of exposure to toxic chemicals and environmental hazards to First Nations children and unborn fetuses. Specifically, it examines the current health status of First Nations children, the various pathways of exposure and vulnerabilities of children to environmental hazards, existing environmental threats, and existing policies on children's health and environment.
