Land-based healing' is a cultural concept within mental health promotion and intervention that has been understood and taught for millennia by Indigenous knowledge holders, and is currently being revitalized by northern practitioners. In this qualitative study, the author documents the experiences of 11 land-based program practitioners from the three northern territories, highlighting the value of land-based practices and programs within mainstream health.
