In this commentary, the authors argue that a cultural safety approach must be employed in physical activity promotion and programs to reduce health disparities for Indigenous Peoples in Canada. They highlight how this type of approach can address some of the critiques that have been made regarding the use of cultural sensitivity, cultural relevancy, and cultural competency training for physical activity providers.
