The authors conduct a systematic scoping review of the literature to explore the connection between water anxiety and insecurity in relation to mental health and resilience among Indigenous communities in Canada and the United States. They highlight the diverse water concerns of Indigenous Peoples and discuss how the negative effects of water insecurity are associated with water anxiety, then identify factors associated with resilience in this context.
