Telemedicine and E-Health
Remote monitoring has been successfully implemented with patients suffering from a range of medical conditions. This article presents a model for adapting this technology to American Indian veterans undergoing treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder in rural contexts. The study showed positive impressions by patients with respect to both programmatic and cultural adaptations of the model.
