This article aims to address a research gap on Indigenous communities and dementia by exploring the perspectives of First Nation Elders in BC on memory loss and memory care in later life. The research highlights the importance of culturally safe dementia care and revival of traditional knowledge and ways of life in the care of First Nations individuals with dementia.
