This manual identifies the most critical environmental health issues facing First Nations children, both on and off reserve. It is situated within the framework of the Medicine Wheel, using four elements of Earth, Air, Water and Fire to organize and explain environmental concerns facing First Nations families. The manual also provides recommendations for support service providers in addressing the environmental health concerns of their clients in a culturally sensitive and strengths-based manner.
