This report provides findings from a rapid review which aimed to determine the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on children's mental health in British Columbia. Of the few relevant studies identified, findings showed dramatic increases in mental health challenges among children, with some groups disproportionately impacted, including children from socioeconomically disadvantaged families, Asian-Canadian children, Indigenous children, and children with neuro-diverse special needs. The authors highlight the need to prioritize children's mental health in the context of the pandemic.
