In this blog post, the authors present recommendations for addressing employment barriers faced by urban Indigenous people in the Greater Toronto Area so they can fully participate in Ontario's COVID-19 economic recovery. The recommendations focus on access to culturally tailored training programs, expanded financial support for small business growth, and removal of transportation barriers for urban Indigenous workers.
