This mixed methods study aims to characterize the experience of food insecurity among Inuit community members in Igloolik, Nunavut and examine the determinants that affect food security in the community. The study found that food insecurity was widespread as a result of numerous factors, including food affordability, food quality and availability, environmental stress, declining hunting activity, and the cost of harvesting. These factors are operating in the context of changing livelihoods and climate change.
