Description

In this retrospective birth cohort (1991-2000) study, the authors assess individual and community level disparities and trends in birth outcomes and infant mortality among First Nations and Inuit compared to other populations in Quebec. Large and persistent disparities in fetal and infant mortality were found among First Nations and Inuit compared to non-Indigenous populations based on individual or commuity level assessments.
