Description

The authors describe how First Nations and Metis communities in Alberta minimized COVID-19 related morbidity and mortality and the ongoing health concerns and isses that must be addressed in the recovery period. They argue that principles of self-determination are central to promoting health for Indigenous communities in Alberta and must be a core component of the recovery phase.
