Description

The authors review restrictions, health mandates, and transmission mitigation strategies imposed by all levels of government in eight Arctic countries during the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic to contextualize the impact of COVID-19 emergency and prevention measures. This collaborative effort across the Arctic region was initiated to identify community-driven, evidence-based, promising practices and offer recommendations to inform future pan-Arctic collaboration and decision-making in global public health emergencies.
