In this report, the authors present present a preliminary analysis of findings from a study investigating climatic shellfish harvesting closure trends in four First Nations territories in British Columbia due to  the presence of biotoxins and relationships to environmental conditions. The authors conclude by offering recommendations that support seafood safety, security, and sovereignty in the context of climate change.
