Description

The authors present findings from a community-based, participatory research study that utilizes a two-eyed seeing approach and aimed to explore community perspectives of Indigenous food sovereignty (IFS) in Western Canada. They identify main aspects of Indigenous food sovereignty and concerns for local ecosystems, and discuss the importance of strengthening IFS movements to the overall well-being of Indigenous communities across Canada.
