This resource is one of a series of six Healthy Aging booklets for First Nations, Inuit, and Métis adults (aged 18 to 49 years) and older adults (aged 50+ years) in Canada. It was developed in response to requests from Indigenous families and community partners for culturally relevant resources to support the health and well-being of First Nations people, Inuit, and Métis people throughout the aging process.
This booklet promotes financial wellness as a means of boosting your overall health and quality of life. This includes keeping a healthy budget, doing taxes regularly, taking advantage of available health and social benefits, and planning for retirement and end-of-life.
